The Other Side of the Nightmare
Sans knew he was dreaming. By now, he was an expert at knowing when the terrors that stalked him were real or not, and this was far from reality. The world around him was black as ebony, an endless void of horrid darkness that ate at his sanity like a swarm of hungry termites. And yet, despite the dark, he could see perfectly. Gazing down at his hand, he could see it without squinting, his body cast in an odd, reddish light.
Sans took a deep, steadying breath.
